Wheatpasting costs between $4,500 and $6,500 per market depending on city, poster count, format size, and whether you need rush turnaround. That range covers everything: printing, paste, labor, location scouting, overnight installation, GPS documentation, and a photo report delivered within 24 hours of the run.
Below is how that price breaks down, what drives it up or down, and what every major U.S. market costs in 2026.
The quoted price covers the full job. There are no hidden line items.
Most wheatpasting campaigns use 24×36-inch posters. That’s the standard. They go up fast, cover a lot of ground, and work on virtually every wall type.
Large format means 48×72 inches. Some campaigns go bigger, up to 60×84 or custom cuts. Large format costs more for three reasons: print production is more expensive, installation takes longer (two-person teams, ladders, longer cure time), and the number of viable wall locations drops because you need a bigger unobstructed surface.
The tradeoff is visibility. A 48×72 poster on Grand Street in SoHo stops people. A 24×36 in the same spot blends in with the visual noise. For launch campaigns or moments where you want people talking, large format earns it.
Single-city campaigns are the entry point. Multi-city buys get more efficient as volume increases.
Multi-city campaigns reduce per-market cost by 15 to 25 percent. When you’re already handling print production and logistics for one market, adding four more is additive, not multiplicative.
Traditional out-of-home advertising, meaning billboards and transit shelters through major vendors like Outfront and Lamar, costs more and delivers less frequency in dense urban corridors.
Several factors push campaigns toward the higher end of the range.
Volume and flexibility are the two biggest cost reducers.
Yes. Every AGM campaign quote includes print production. We handle the full job from artwork to installation to documentation.
In high-activity urban markets, 7 to 21 days is typical. Factors include weather, how busy the location is, and whether the wall owner removes them. We photograph every placement within 24 hours of installation, so your documentation is locked regardless of how long they stay up.
Yes. Every placement comes with GPS coordinates, a street address, neighborhood designation, and a timestamped photo. You get this in a structured report within 24 hours of the run.
Our minimum is around 75 to 100 posters per market. Below that, the economics of field team mobilization don’t work well for either side.
Standard lead time is 10 to 14 days from artwork approval. Rush campaigns can go in 72 hours with a surcharge. Same-day or next-day is not possible because location scouting and print production require minimum lead time to execute correctly.
