AGM executes street-level poster campaigns for national brands, record labels, film studios, political organizations, nonprofits, and consumer product launches. Our campaigns require consistent, professional execution across dozens of simultaneous markets. That demands a deep bench of qualified field contractors who can operate independently, meet installation windows, and document their work accurately. If you match that profile, this posting is for you.

About the Role

Wheatpaste installers at AGM are independent field contractors responsible for the physical execution of wheatpaste and wild posting campaigns. Work is project-based and campaign-specific. Installers receive pre-scouted route sheets, printed materials, and adhesive supplies from the campaign team. Your job is to execute the install accurately, within the designated installation window, and to provide timestamped photographic documentation of every placement.

Installation windows typically run during off-peak hours, late evening through early morning. Assignments vary in scale from single-night urban blitzes to multi-day saturation campaigns. AGM provides all materials, campaign briefs, and route documentation. The installer supplies the labor, local knowledge, transportation, and professional execution.

Traveling vs. Local Installers. What We Need Most

We accept applications from both local and traveling installers. However, our highest-priority need is for experienced traveling installers who can deploy to multiple markets at short notice. Many of our larger campaigns require simultaneous installation across 10–30 cities over a compressed 48–72 hour window. Reliable traveling installers who can be on-site in any given U.S. city within 24–36 hours of activation are exceptionally valuable to our operation.

AGM covers all travel-related costs for traveling contractors, including flights, ground transportation, and lodging. Travel budget is confirmed prior to every deployment, and payment covers both the travel period and the installation itself. If you are a seasoned installer with a strong track record in multiple markets, note this clearly in your application, that raises you to the top of the list.

Local installers with deep knowledge of a specific metro area, established permissions relationships, route intelligence, and neighborhood-level execution experience are also a core part of how AGM builds its market presence. If you operate exclusively in your home market but do so with professional-grade output, we want you in our network.

Wheatpaste Installer Positions. U.S. Cities

We are actively seeking wheatpaste installers in every U.S. state. Strong areas of interest include the following major metro markets. Each entry below links to our active wheatpaste campaign service page for that market, showing the type of work you would be doing.

Top U.S. Metro Markets. Actively Seeking Installers

Beyond the metros listed above, we are accepting applications from experienced installers in all 50 U.S. states. If your home market is not listed, apply anyway, we run campaigns in smaller metros all the time and build our roster on an ongoing basis. See our full national guerrilla marketing service map here.

International Installer Positions

AGM’s international campaign activity is growing. We are currently building an installer network in the following global markets. International positions require documented prior experience in each specific market. Local legal knowledge, surface relationships, and execution experience in that city’s unique outdoor advertising environment are requirements we take seriously.

Global Cities: Active Installer Search

Priority international markets for 2026 are London, Tokyo, and Mexico City. If you have active installer experience in any of these three cities, flag this explicitly in your application submission.

Requirements & Qualifications

AGM maintains high execution standards across every campaign market. We are not looking for first-time volunteers. We are building a professional contractor network. All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:

Core Requirements

Strong Preferred Qualifications

Portfolio Requirements

A professional portfolio of past installations is mandatory for all applicants. Your portfolio is the primary basis on which we evaluate field competence. We cannot make contractor decisions based on self-reported experience alone.

Your portfolio submission should include:

Portfolios may be submitted as a Google Drive link, Dropbox folder, personal website, or organized PDF. Instagram pages are acceptable as a supplemental reference but not as a primary portfolio submission. All portfolio materials are kept confidential and are not published or shared without explicit permission.

Prior Employment & Client History

In addition to your portfolio, we ask all applicants to provide a brief history of prior wheatpaste or outdoor installation employment. This does not need to be a formal resume, a straightforward list of relevant work history is sufficient.

Your employment and client history should include:

AGM works with some of the most demanding brand clients in the country, record labels, major film releases, consumer tech brands, and national political campaigns. Our clients expect smooth execution. Our contractor history review reflects that expectation. The stronger your employment history, the faster you move through our onboarding process.

Compensation & Travel Budget

All AGM installer engagements are paid contractor positions. Compensation is structured per campaign, calculated based on placement count, market, installation complexity, and overnight vs. daytime execution requirements. Rates are competitive with standard wild posting and wheatpaste industry contractor rates and are confirmed in writing before every deployment.

For traveling installers, AGM covers the full travel budget in addition to installation payment. This includes:

Travel logistics and budget are confirmed in the campaign brief before you commit to a deployment. AGM does not ask contractors to front travel costs and seek reimbursement, costs are pre-arranged and either directly booked by AGM or advanced prior to departure.

Payment for completed campaigns is issued within 5 business days of approved post-campaign documentation submission. Documentation must include timestamped, geotagged photos of all completed placements to trigger payment processing.

Scouting: Digital Pre-Scouting and Day-of Assessment

Execution quality in wheatpaste installation starts before a single poster goes up. AGM requires all contractors to show competent scouting ability: both digitally, in the days preceding an install, and physically, on the ground the day of deployment. Route execution without prior scouting is not an acceptable operating standard on AGM campaigns.

Digital Pre-Scouting

When you receive a campaign brief and route assignment, your first job is reconnaissance, not logistics. Before materials arrive and before you set foot in the market, you are expected to have already built a working mental map of the assigned territory using available digital tools.

Digital pre-scouting means using Google Street View, Google Maps satellite view, and platform-specific resources to identify the following for every block on your route:

Google Street View imagery is not always current, treat it as a baseline, not a guarantee. The objective of digital pre-scouting is to arrive on-site already knowing the block, not to see it for the first time when you’re carrying a bucket of paste at midnight. Contractors who arrive in a new market cold, with no prior surface knowledge, create campaign risk. AGM does not accept that approach.

Day-of Ground Scouting

Digital pre-scouting informs. Day-of ground scouting confirms. Before installation begins, ideally in the afternoon or early evening of the install day. AGM expects contractors to do a physical walk of their assigned route to validate pre-scouted intelligence and identify anything that has changed since Street View imagery was captured.

Day-of scouting responsibilities include:

For traveling installers assigned to new markets, day-of scouting is required and should be budgeted as a standard part of every deployment. AGM builds day-of scouting time into travel contractor schedules, it is part of what you are compensated for, not overhead you absorb. Installers who treat route arrival as the beginning of the job rather than the end of preparation consistently outperform those who do not. That difference shows in campaign documentation, placement quality, and client satisfaction scores.

Your application should indicate your scouting experience explicitly. If you have operated in markets you had no prior knowledge of, describe how you prepared and what your process looked like. This is one of the clearest signals of professional-grade installation capability we evaluate.

How to Apply

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. There is no deadline, we evaluate and onboard qualified installers continuously throughout the year. We run campaigns 12 months out of the year, and our installer roster needs are constant.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be based in the U.S. to apply?

No. We are actively recruiting international installers in London, Tokyo, Mexico City, and the other global markets listed above. International applicants must show market-specific installation experience in the city they are applying for.

Can I apply as a local installer even if I don’t want to travel?

Yes. We maintain local installer relationships in every market where we run regular campaigns. If you have strong execution experience in your home metro and no interest in traveling, apply as a local-only contractor and indicate your market clearly.

What kind of campaigns will I be executing?

AGM runs wheatpaste poster campaigns , snipe advertising , and large-format wild posting campaigns for national brands across entertainment, consumer products, technology, and political clients. Campaign scale ranges from 50-placement neighborhood blitzes to 2,000-placement multi-market saturation events.

Do I need to have my own tools and supplies?

Yes. Installers are expected to provide their own brushes, buckets, rollers, and basic safety equipment. AGM provides all printed materials, adhesive, and route documentation for every campaign. Material delivery logistics are confirmed in the campaign brief prior to installation.

How often is work available?

Campaign frequency varies by market and season. High-volume metros like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Houston typically generate multiple campaign assignments per month. Smaller metros generate less frequent but still regular work. Traveling installers with strong track records often receive near-continuous deployment across markets.

What documentation is required after installation?

Every placement requires a timestamped, geotagged photograph. Campaign close-out documentation, organized by route section with confirmation of placement count, is submitted within 24 hours of installation completion. This documentation is the basis for client reporting and contractor payment processing.
