Nobody publishes real pricing for street poster advertising. Most agencies make you fill out a form, wait 48 hours, and then pitch you on something bigger than you asked for. We don’t do that. Here’s exactly what AGM charges in 2026, across markets.
Street poster pricing covers four things. Printing. Crew labor for overnight installation. Location scouting and permissions. And documentation (GPS-tagged photos of every placement).
Print quality matters too. Cheap paper and standard paste peels in 5 days in humid markets like Miami or in winter freeze cycles in Chicago. AGM uses weatherproof stock and market-specific adhesive on every campaign. That’s part of what you’re paying for.
NYC is more expensive than Nashville partly because of the cost of securing legal wall access in the most competitive neighborhoods.
Timing. Campaigns during major events (Art Basel, SXSW, Coachella weekend) cost more because demand for crews and surfaces spikes. Book early.
Size. Standard 24×36 posters at scale cost less per unit than oversized formats. A 600-poster run of 24×36 is more efficient than 200 posters at 48×72.
The other thing digital doesn’t give you is physicality. A poster on a wall in Wicker Park is a real-world object. People photograph it. They share it. They feel the presence of a brand differently when they see it in their neighborhood versus in their feed.
Step one is location scouting. Before any printing starts, our crew identifies available wall surfaces in the target zones. We confirm that surfaces are legal, accessible, and appropriate for the campaign. Scouting happens 3 to 5 days before install in most markets so the information is current.
Step two is printing. AGM prints in-house on weatherproof stock. Standard sizes are 24×36 and 20×30. Larger formats (48×72) are available for scaffold and high-visibility locations. We use market-specific adhesive: humidity-resistant for Miami and Florida markets, freeze-thaw-rated for Chicago in cold months, UV-resistant for LA and California markets. The material spec is not a premium option. It is the baseline requirement for campaigns that hold through the full window.
Step three is overnight installation. Our crews work from 11pm to 5am in most markets. Every placement gets photographed with GPS coordinates before the crew moves on. We cover the full zone in a single overnight window for most standard campaigns.
Step four is documentation delivery. You receive a placement report within 24 hours of installation. The report lists every address, GPS coordinates, a timestamp, and a photograph of each placement. It is a verifiable record of exactly where your money went. No other street advertising format provides this level of documentation.
Market labor costs vary by city. New York and San Francisco run higher than Nashville or Atlanta because crew costs and operational complexity are higher in dense markets. That difference is already built into the per-market pricing tables above.
Poster count affects price up to a point, then economies of scale kick in. A 300-poster run does not cost twice a 150-poster run because setup, scouting, and overhead costs are shared. The per-poster cost drops at higher volumes.
Rush turnaround adds cost. Standard lead time is 5 to 7 business days from design approval to installation. 72-hour rush is available in most markets at a 25 to 35 percent premium. Same-day is not possible.
Special materials for weather or surface conditions add a small premium in some markets. Miami humidity-resistant adhesive and Chicago freeze-thaw-rated stock cost slightly more than standard materials. For those markets, the upgrade is standard practice and already factored into the published rates.
Entertainment companies run the most consistent poster campaigns across all markets.
Music artists across hip-hop, pop, R&B, and country use street posters for album releases and tour announcements. a major motorcycle brand, Eric Church’s Moody Center campaign, and independent artists alike have run AGM campaigns. Street posters build the kind of credibility in music that no paid digital ad can replicate.
DTC and consumer brands use street posters to break through the digital fatigue that has made a major social media platform and Instagram advertising less effective year over year. A poster on the wall between a consumer’s apartment and their coffee shop creates cumulative frequency over a 3-week window that no algorithm can replicate at the same per-impression cost.
Tech companies and startups use poster campaigns around conferences and product launches. a major tech conference, NY Tech Week, and Dreamforce campaigns place the brand in the visual environment of the exact professional audience without paying exhibit hall prices.
Cannabis brands use street advertising because they cannot run on digital platforms.

Yes. Multi-market campaigns get a volume discount on printing and logistics. Call us with your full market list and we’ll quote the combined package.
Rush campaigns (72-hour turnaround from design approval) carry a modest premium. Most markets can accommodate rush on packages up to 300 posters.
A standard 14×48 billboard in Chicago runs $3,000 to $5,000 per month for a single location. Different formats serve different goals, but the impression efficiency on street posters is typically much stronger.
Every AGM campaign includes printing, location scouting, overnight installation, GPS-tagged photo documentation of every placement, and a full placement report PDF. No add-on fees for documentation or reporting. The price you see is the price you pay.
Pricing includes a free design review. We will flag artwork issues before they hit print. Actual design services are available at an additional cost. Most clients provide print-ready files.
Yes. Multi-city campaigns get volume pricing. A 5-city run at 200 posters per city comes in meaningfully below 5 times the single-city rate. We coordinate timing across all markets and deliver a single consolidated placement report.
Most placements stay visible for 2 to 4 weeks depending on market conditions. Miami and humid Southern markets trend toward 2 to 3 weeks. Chicago in winter can hold 4 weeks because street cleaning frequency drops. SoHo and competitive NYC zones see more coverage activity from competing advertisers.
If placement is compromised due to factors within our control within the first week of a campaign, we replace it. We will work with you on remediation.
The practical minimum is 100 posters per market. Below that, the frequency per viewer drops too low to build meaningful brand recall.
