LED Billboard Truck Providers: Partner With American Guerrilla Marketing

Mobile Billboard Advertising Nashville: LED Trucks, Routes, and Campaign Strategy | American Guerrilla Marketing — American Guerrilla Marketing campaign

By , AGM Campaign Director | Published May 2026 | Updated May 2026

AGM has run 500+ street-level poster campaigns across 50 U.S. markets since 2014. Every placement is GPS-tagged and independently verifiable.

American Guerrilla Marketing is building out a national network of LED billboard truck operators. We run mobile LED truck campaigns for brands, concerts, film releases, sporting events, and political campaigns across the country. If you own or operate an LED truck, we want to talk.

This is a B2B partnership call. We are not looking for drivers or crew. We are looking for companies and independent operators who own LED billboard trucks and want consistent campaign work routed through a national agency. If you have the equipment and the operational track record, we have the clients.

AGM has run mobile billboard campaigns in 200+ U.S. markets for clients including national brands, film studios, and major political campaigns. Our team has coordinated hundreds of LED truck deployments across New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, and beyond. We know what a solid operator looks like, and we are ready to work with more of them.

About the Partnership

AGM is a guerrilla and experiential marketing agency based in New York City. We place mobile billboard trucks for clients who need street-level reach: product launches, album drops, event promotions, campaign rallies, sports activations, and more. The problem we run into constantly is simple. We get campaign requests in cities where we do not have an LED truck already lined up.

That is where you come in. We want to build a vetted roster of LED billboard truck operators we can call on when a campaign hits your market. If we can confirm you are ready, legal, and reliable, we will route work your way.

This is not a subcontracting arrangement where you lose control of your equipment. You drive, you operate, you handle your vehicle. We handle the client, the creative, the route, and the schedule. You show up and run the campaign as briefed. We keep the client happy and keep sending campaigns your direction.

Our clients include entertainment companies booking activations around major film releases, national brands running market-by-market rollouts, and political organizations that need trucks in specific cities on specific dates. The demand is consistent, and the markets keep expanding. We need operators who can keep up.

What We Need From Operators

Before we add you to our vendor network, we need to verify a few things about your truck and your operation. This is not a long process, but we do need the specifics.

  • LED screen size: At minimum 8 feet tall by 14 feet wide per active face
  • Resolution: P6 pixel pitch or tighter for clear daylight visibility
  • Brightness: 5,000 nits or higher for outdoor, daytime-readable display
  • Sound system: Optional but a strong advantage for event-based campaigns
  • DOT compliance: Vehicle must be currently registered and within weight and dimension limits for your state
  • Insurance: Commercial auto coverage with at minimum $1 million liability per occurrence
  • Availability: Tell us your typical lead time and any blackout windows so we can match you to campaigns that fit

We work with both tri-sided and single-sided LED trucks. Most of our work happens in urban cores and high-traffic corridors, so the truck needs to handle city driving without issues. Content playback needs to be stable and easy to update in the field.

Not on the list? Submit anyway. If we get a request near you, we want your contact on file before that campaign lands.

International Markets

AGM runs international campaigns for clients with global reach. We are actively looking for vetted LED truck operators in the following markets:

  • London, United Kingdom: Campaign demand tied to U.K. film releases, touring acts, and brand activations across Greater London
  • Tokyo, Japan: Occasional work for North American clients with Japan-market campaigns, especially around entertainment and product launches
  • Mexico City, Mexico: Steady demand from cross-border campaigns and Latin market activations, particularly for brands with strong regional presence

International operators need to be in good standing with local traffic and advertising regulations. We will work with you on permits where we can, but you need to know your market’s rules and restrictions going in.

Equipment Requirements

Here is what we look for at minimum. Trucks that exceed these specs move to the front of the line when we are matching operators to campaigns. If your setup falls in between, list your actual specs and let us evaluate it against the campaign requirements.

Spec Minimum Preferred
Screen dimensions (per face) 8ft H x 14ft W 10ft H x 20ft W
Pixel pitch P6 P4 or tighter
Brightness 5,000 nits 7,000+ nits
Power source Onboard generator Generator plus shore power capability
Weatherproofing rating IP54 IP65 or higher
Content input method USB or HDMI Wireless content push

We send content files in advance for every campaign. Your playback system needs to accept standard video formats, specifically MP4 at minimum 1080p. We do not want to troubleshoot codec issues on the morning of a campaign.

Operator Requirements

Beyond the truck itself, here is what we need from you as an operator before we can bring you onto a campaign:

  • DOT registration: Your vehicle must be DOT registered and current, with no open violations
  • CDL: The driver must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License for the applicable vehicle class in their state
  • Liability insurance: Minimum $1,000,000 commercial auto liability per occurrence, with AGM listed as additional insured on active campaigns
  • Clean driving record: No major violations in the past three years
  • Business entity: LLC, corporation, or sole proprietor with a valid EIN for payment processing and 1099 compliance
  • Communication: You or a designated point of contact must be reachable by phone during campaign hours

We will ask for copies of your registration, insurance certificate, and CDL before the first campaign. Get those ready when you submit so we can move fast when a booking comes in.

Compensation

We pay per campaign day. Rates vary by market, campaign type, and hours on the road. Here is how it generally works:

  • Day rates: Set before each campaign and agreed in writing. No surprises after the fact.
  • Fuel: Covered separately. Fuel costs are not deducted from your day rate.
  • Multi-day retainer: For campaigns running three or more consecutive days, we can discuss a retainer structure with guaranteed minimums regardless of weather or client changes.
  • Payment terms: Net 15 on campaign close, paid via ACH direct deposit to your business account.
  • Rush campaigns: When we have short-notice bookings, operators who can flex on short timelines receive a premium rate for the inconvenience.

We do not nickel and dime operators. When you run a clean campaign, we keep routing work your direction. The goal is a long-term working relationship, not a one-off hire. The operators who do well with us consistently end up with preferred status, which means they get first call on campaigns in their market.

How to Submit

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “LED Truck Operator Inquiry” and include the following:

  1. Your name and company name
  2. Market(s) you serve and your base of operations
  3. Number of trucks in your fleet
  4. Screen specs for each truck: dimensions, pixel pitch, brightness in nits
  5. Photos or a spec sheet for each truck
  6. Your typical availability and lead time
  7. Proof of insurance, or confirmation you can provide it on contract signing

We review every submission. If we have a campaign in your area that fits your specs and availability, we will reach out to discuss specifics. Response times vary based on campaign volume, but operators who meet our baseline requirements do hear back. Do not send generic outreach, give us the details up front so we can match you to campaigns faster.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be based in a specific city to work with AGM?

No. We work with operators who are based in a metro area and with those who travel between markets. Just be clear about where you can operate and how much lead time you need to get there.

What kind of campaigns does AGM typically run on LED trucks?

Film and TV premieres, album release tours, brand product launches, political campaign activations, sporting event tie-ins, and large-scale events where ground-level visibility matters. Campaigns typically run 4 to 10 hours per day, sometimes across multiple consecutive days.

How much advance notice do you give operators before a campaign?

It varies. Most campaigns come with 5 to 14 days of lead time. Occasionally we get rush requests with 48 to 72 hours notice. That is why we ask about your availability upfront: so we know who to call when a short-notice campaign lands in your city.

Who handles permits and route approvals?

It depends on the city. In most markets, AGM handles permit coordination. In some cities, the local operator knows the rules better and we work together on it. We will be clear on responsibilities before any campaign starts, and nothing moves forward until permitting is confirmed.

What if my truck has a technical issue during a campaign?

Let us know immediately. We will work out a solution with you, whether that is rescheduling, adjusting hours, or sourcing a backup for the client. We do not expect perfection, but we do expect communication the moment something goes wrong. Radio silence during a campaign issue is the one thing that will end a vendor relationship fast.

Do you work with operators who have multiple trucks?

Yes, and we actively look for fleet operators. If you run two or more trucks, we can potentially coordinate multi-vehicle deployments for large-scale campaigns. List all your trucks and their individual specs in your submission email.

Is this an exclusive arrangement?

No. We are not asking for exclusivity. You can continue working with other agencies and direct clients. All we ask is that when you commit to an AGM campaign, you show up and complete it. If you accept a booking and then back out, that is the kind of thing that removes you from our vendor list.
