wheatpasting New Orleans Essence Festival campaign posters

American Guerrilla Marketing is hiring a Project Manager for our Orlando office. This is a full-time, in-office position. You must currently live in the Orlando, Florida metro area to apply. No remote, no relocation packages. We need someone already here who knows this city, its neighborhoods, its energy, and how to move fast inside it.

We run street-level marketing campaigns for brands that want to be seen, felt, and talked about. Wheatpaste posters, street teams, experiential activations, wild postings, OOH media, guerrilla stunts. The work is hands-on, client-facing, and deadline-driven. The person we hire for this role will be the operational core of how we deliver campaigns in the Orlando market.

If you are organized, communicate well, enjoy client relationships, and can manage multiple moving parts without losing track of any of them, keep reading.

Why Trust This Posting

American Guerrilla Marketing has operated in the out-of-home and street-level advertising space for over a decade. We have executed campaigns for national brands, independent labels, consumer startups, nonprofits, and everything in between. Our Orlando office is an active operation, not a concept. This job posting was written by our internal team, and the role is open now. Questions go to [email protected].

About the Role

The Project Manager at our Orlando office is not a coordinator or a scheduler. This person is the engine that keeps client campaigns running from kickoff to close-out report. You will be managing real client relationships, building out proposals and presentations, coordinating field operations, and making sure every campaign we run in the Florida market gets done on time and to spec.

You will work directly alongside leadership, talk to clients on a regular basis, and have a real hand in shaping how AGM operates in Central Florida. It is an office-based, client-facing role. Orlando is not a remote satellite for us. It is an active market, and the person in this seat will be its primary operational point of contact.

We run campaigns in experiential marketing, street team activations, wheatpaste and poster campaigns, experiential events, out-of-home media, and more. A project manager here needs to be comfortable understanding what these campaigns involve operationally, even if they have never managed them before joining.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

The work is varied. No two weeks are the same. Here is what the role typically looks like in practice:

  • Client email management: You are the primary communication point for active clients. That means keeping them updated, answering questions, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Sales outreach: When we have capacity, you will help identify and reach out to prospective new clients in the Florida market. This is not cold-call sales. It is relationship-building with brands and agencies that would benefit from what we do.
  • Campaign proposals and capabilities decks: You will build out pitches and capabilities presentations for incoming opportunities, working from templates and customizing to the client’s goals.
  • Campaign execution management: Once a campaign is sold, you own the logistics. That means coordinating field crews, tracking timelines, managing vendor relationships, and making sure installations, activations, and street teams happen as planned.
  • Post-campaign reporting: After every campaign wraps, you document what happened. Photo logs, reach summaries, performance notes, and client-facing recap decks are part of the job.

It is a full plate. The right person will find it energizing, not exhausting. If you thrive when you have a lot going on and you are good at keeping everything organized, this is the kind of role where you will do your best work.

This Role Is Orlando-Only

We are not accepting applications from candidates who do not currently live in the Orlando, Florida metro area. This is a firm requirement, not a preference.

We need someone who is already part of this market. Someone who knows Orlando’s neighborhoods, understands how the city moves, and can show up at our office five days a week without a relocation timeline attached to their start date.

This role is in-office, Monday through Friday, at our Orlando location. There is no hybrid arrangement, no remote option, and no plan to create one. The nature of the work requires you to be physically present and embedded in the market you are managing campaigns for.

You will be the face of American Guerrilla Marketing in Orlando. When a client in the Florida market calls or emails, you are who picks up. When a field crew needs direction, you are who they reach. When a campaign is in progress, you are the person on the ground making sure it runs right.

If you are currently outside the Orlando metro area, please do not apply. We appreciate the interest, but relocation packages are not part of this offer and we are moving quickly on the hire.

Who We’re Looking For

There is no single background that makes someone right for this job. We care more about how you work than where you have worked. That said, here is the profile of someone who will genuinely thrive in this role:

  • Organized: You have a system. You do not rely on memory for deadlines. You track things. When multiple campaigns are running at the same time, you do not lose threads.
  • Clear communicator: Both in writing and on calls. You can explain what is happening on a campaign to a client who has never run one before, and you can do it without being confusing or condescending.
  • Comfortable on client calls: This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You will be talking to clients regularly, sometimes delivering news they did not plan for. You need to be calm, professional, and solutions-oriented.
  • Able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously: Parallelism is the job. If you prefer working on one thing at a time until it is done before starting the next, this environment will be frustrating. If juggling multiple priorities feels natural to you, you will be fine.
  • Sales instincts: You do not need to be a classic sales personality. But you should understand value, be comfortable making asks, and enjoy the process of converting an interested prospect into an active client.
  • Detail-oriented on reporting: Campaign recaps matter. Clients rely on them, and our internal records depend on them. Attention to detail here is not optional.

We are a small, efficient team. We do not have layers of management for every decision. If you need a lot of hand-holding or structure to stay productive, this is probably not the right fit. If you do well with ownership and autonomy, you will enjoy working here.

Experience Required

  • 2 or more years of experience in marketing, project management, agency work, or sales. These can overlap. We are looking at the totality of what you have done, not just job titles.
  • Familiarity with guerrilla marketing, experiential advertising, or out-of-home media is a strong plus. If you have worked in this space, say so explicitly in your application. It matters.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace. You will be in Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail every day.
  • Experience with CRM tools. We do not require a specific platform, but you should know how to track leads, log communications, and manage a pipeline.
  • Some experience with proposal software or capabilities presentation building. If you have built pitch decks or client proposals before, that is relevant experience here.

We do not require a specific degree. What we care about is demonstrated ability to manage complex, deadline-driven work in a client-facing environment. If your background does not fit the description above neatly but you genuinely believe you are the right person for this, write that in your cover note and tell us why.

What You’ll Learn and Build

Most people who come into roles like this at AGM leave with a skill set they could not have built anywhere else. Guerrilla and out-of-home marketing is a specialty. It does not show up in marketing textbooks the way digital or social does. The hands-on operational experience you get from actually running these campaigns, talking to clients, managing field crews, and producing recaps is genuinely rare.

Specifically, in this role you will build:

  • Deep expertise in guerrilla and OOH marketing operations across multiple campaign types, including street team activations, experiential events, poster campaigns, brand ambassador programs, and more.
  • A client portfolio. You will have real clients and real campaigns attached to your name. That is useful for your career regardless of where it takes you.
  • Campaign management skills that transfer across marketing verticals. The ability to run a guerrilla campaign well translates directly to managing other kinds of marketing work.
  • Relationships in the Orlando market. You will be talking to brands, agencies, and vendors in this market from day one.

We invest in people who are serious about the work. If you show up, do the job, and want to grow, there is room for this role to evolve.

Compensation

This is a full-time salaried position. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process based on your experience and background. We do not post a range and then move significantly outside it. What we discuss is what we mean.

Additional details about benefits and structure will be covered in the initial interview conversation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this really in-office five days a week in Orlando?

Yes. This is a full-time, in-office position at our Orlando location. There is no hybrid schedule and no remote option. You need to be in the office Monday through Friday. If that does not work for your situation, this is not the right role.

Can I apply if I am planning to move to Orlando?

No. We are only considering candidates who currently live in the Orlando metro area. We are not offering relocation assistance, and we are not hiring for a future start date contingent on someone moving. If you are not already in Orlando, please wait until you are settled before applying.

What does a typical day look like for this role?

Most days involve a combination of client communication, campaign coordination, and internal planning. You might spend the morning catching up on client emails and updating campaign timelines, then the afternoon on a call with a client, then the last hour building out a recap or working on a proposal. The mix shifts depending on what campaigns are active and where they are in the lifecycle.

Do I need to have worked in guerrilla or outdoor marketing before?

It is not required, but it is a strong plus. If you have a background in marketing, agency work, event production, or field operations, you will likely pick up the specifics quickly. We will train you on our campaign types and processes. What we cannot train is organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple things at once. Those need to come with you.

How much client interaction will I have?

A lot. This is a client-facing role. You will be emailing clients regularly, getting on calls with them, presenting campaign plans, and managing their expectations throughout the process. If you prefer to work behind the scenes without much client contact, this is not the right fit. If you enjoy building client relationships and feel comfortable being the person clients rely on, it should feel natural.

What kinds of clients does American Guerrilla Marketing work with?

We work with a wide range. National brands, regional companies, entertainment and music clients, consumer startups, nonprofits, political campaigns, and more. The common thread is that they want to reach people in the real world, not just on a screen. Our campaigns show up on streets, at events, in transit corridors, and in places where people actually are. The Orlando market has its own client mix, and the person in this role will help shape it.

Is there room to grow in this role?

Yes. We are not hiring someone to fill a seat and stay flat. If you are good at the job and want more responsibility, there is room to take on bigger accounts, mentor others on the team, and expand what the Orlando operation looks like. We are not a company where career development is a checkbox in a performance review. If you do the work, we notice.
